Bessie Surtees' House
One of the oldest houses in Newcastle dating back to the 15th century, this building bears the name of the daughter of its owner in the late 18th century who eloped with William Scott, later to become the first Lord Eldon, and Lord Chancellor of England. Photographed 2nd March 2002
